Our first contacts with the Toll House Jazz Band from Ohio were made over the internet. So when the first email arrived from Italy with an invitation to the Bruneck Jazz Festival, Christian reacted immediately and offered our American friends as well. And the organizers accepted.
On the 10th to 11th July the two bands played to enthusiastic audiences in the Tschurtschenthaler Park and on the Corso. The stage had welcomed a number of well-known names in the previous days. As well as the Bavarian-American alliance, the bands included:
